Fontanelli Reco’s is a Tuscan family business based in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, at the heart of the Florentine leather district. Active since 1860, it began as a saddlery workshop and has gradually evolved into a company specialising in bags, wallets and belts in leather, all entirely Made in Italy, while preserving consistent artisanal quality.

Production is managed in-house: design, processing and finishing are overseen directly by the family, which over three generations has developed a distinctive body of know-how. The collections include both classic and contemporary styles, made with carefully selected leathers such as nappa and calfskin, chosen also according to sustainability criteria.

Among the most distinctive lines is the woven collection, featuring hand-woven bags. Each piece requires skill, time and precision, turning artisanal craftsmanship into a defining aesthetic and identity element.

Fontanelli Reco’s operates on an international scale: around 30% of its production is destined for the Italian market, 30% for Europe, 30% for the United States and the remaining 10% for Japan. This balanced distribution reflects the solidity of the brand and its ability to engage with different markets without abandoning its roots.
